Pascale St-Onge joins the leadership team of the Bâtirente and Fondaction Combination as Vice-President, Engagement and Public Affairs
Montréal. – Stéphan Morency, President and Chief Executive Officer of Fondaction and of the Bâtirente and Fondaction Combination, announces the appointment of Pascale St‑Onge as Vice-President, Engagement and Public Affairs.
As a member of the Executive Committee, she will oversee the organization’s public affairs, communications, stakeholder relations, and positioning activities. She will also help raise awareness of the combination’s mission and develop relationships with labour, economic, community, institutional, and political stakeholders.
Pascale St‑Onge is recognized for her unifying leadership and ability to drive complex issues forward. She stands out for her capacity to build bridges between different stakeholders and rally them around a shared vision. Her strategic acumen and understanding of major societal issues will strengthen the organization’s role and influence among its partners and stakeholders.

As former President of the FNCC-CSN and a former federal minister, Pascale St‑Onge has helped push forward several strategic initiatives, particularly in the areas of labour, sports, culture, media, communities, and economic development. Drawing on her experience at the intersection of the union, political, and economic spheres, she will bring to the organization recognized expertise in mobilization, public affairs, and institutional outreach.
About the Organization
Fondaction and Bâtirente—the labour-sponsored fund and group retirement plan established at the CSN’s initiative—have joined forces to form a new organization that uses group savings as a catalyst for social and environmental progress.
