What is the HBP?
LThe Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP) is a government program. It allows you to withdraw up to $60,000 from your RRSP to help finance the purchase of your first home.
Eligibility

Your eligibility will be reviewed once your application is complete.
Status : You and your spouse must not own a home or have owned one during the year of the withdrawal or in any of the preceding 4 calendar years. See the Canada Revenue Agency’s conditions
Place of residence : You are purchasing or building a principal residence in Canada
Repayment : You must undertake to make repayments to your Fondaction RRSP
RRSP : Your RRSP shares must have been purchased at least 90 days prior to making a withdrawal under the HBP
